Training Session: Overview of Pivotal Response Treatment  

This knowledge-based training will discuss the history of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), highlighting motivational procedures to increase communication while decreasing challenging behaviors. The training will include video examples and interactive activities, emphasizing the importance of data collection to monitor progress.

Learning Outcomes
Participants in this session will be trained to:

  1. Identify the motivational procedures of PRT.
  2. Describe how improvement in communication can lead to a reduction in problem behavior.
  3. Outline the importance of data collection to monitor student progress.
